CertainTeed DiamondDeck Synthetic Underlayment (Single Roll)

The CertainTeed DiamondDeck Synthetic Underlayment is a high performance, polymer-based layer that is reinforced with gauze and is water-resistant. This underlayment layer is meant to be placed beneath asphalt roofing shingles, wood shingles and shakes, metal shingles and panels, concrete tile or slate. Compared to standard asphalt felt underlayment, DiamondDeck has remarkable dimensional stability that eliminates the possibility of hygro-expansion wrinkles. The standard asphalt felt underlayment can cause distasteful wrinkles on the finished roof, because it can become very wrinkled when it picks up moisture. DiamondDeck has an extra-large length and width for a speedy application, and it has a special top surface treatment that provides superb slip resistance, even when it is wet. Please Note: Walking or crawling on any roof surface can be dangerous, especially when wet or snow/ice-covered. Classified by UL to be a suitable underlayment for use in any UL Class A, B, or C fire rated shingle system. Superior wet/dry traction – Work faster and safer.
