This string is designed to enhance the expressive range of tone sought after by the most discerning players.<br><br>The High C string features a stranded steel core and nickel winding. The Traditional Double Bass High C String is constructed and tensioned similarly to an acoustic bass string for a warm tone and great bow response. The NS Electric Traditional Bass High C String is designed for electric upright basses with standard playing lengths, but shorter overall lengths (no tailpiece).<br><br>All D'Addario strings are designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA to the most stringent quality controls in the industry.
